Mission to Pacific Brook

Pacific Hills mission to Paific BrookDue to COVID having put a stop to mission trips for students at our ‘sister’ campuses in the Pacific Group of Schools, there was a lot of excitement when the opportunity came up to journey to Muswellbrook.

A busload of Pacific Hills Christian School Year 12 students ventured north to be with us, providing them with what would be the last mission trip of their high school career.

The students served our community by dedicating their time and musical giftings. The weekend was filled with activities such as mini-Olympics, a community BBQ, a School worship night, painting murals and handball / hopscotch lines.

This was an exciting time for our students to play games, compete in championships and form a connection with Pacific Hills.

Pacific Hills student Lilli Langton said, “Although it was slightly chaotic at times, it was a wonderful experience to bring such joy to so many little faces, just by putting coloured ribbons in our hair, zinc on our faces and teaching sub-par chants!”

Pacific Brook Christian School worship night

We appreciated the musical talent and giftings of this graduating class as they ran our worship night and barbecue for the school and the wider community. Gathering under the stars to worship our mighty God was the largest event we have held here.

The weekend will have a lasting impact upon our School and created fond memories amongst the students.

“It was all the little moments of creating cardboard slides down grassy hills and serving burgers to young families, as well as knowing we had helped create an even more fun school for kids whom we got to know over the two days, that really made the trip and made us so, so grateful for the opportunities and blessings God has given to us”, added Lilli.

Thank you to Pacific Hills Christian School for serving our community.
