Serving others – Sharing God’s love

Mission & Service

The heartbeat of Christian mission is to bring hope, healing and God’s redemption to a broken world. Through our acts of service, we share the good news of God’s love, commitment, grace and kindness as the transformative power of Jesus changes lives.

Caring About Others

Central to life at Pacific Brook is our commitment to help various communities in need. Our acts of service span local, national and international realms. Our ethos of humble service is integral to our daily life and helping students appreciate life from other perspectives. Engaging in service shapes the character, respect and responsibility of our students and they see they can make an impact in our world.

Local services include Do it for Dolly to raise awareness and funds to support anti-bullying. All staff and students wear blue to school. Students also raise funds for Life-skills students support the Mark Hughes Cure Brain Cancer appeal. Our Life-Skills students work with the Vines church local Food Care services who supply food for lower income earners at cost price. Students help by serving and stocking shelves.

National Mission: Students are welcome to participate in the annual mission to outback Australia with the Pacific Hills Christian School mission team where opportunities arise.

International Mission: Students are also able to participate in the international mission trips to countries in need with the Pacific Hills Christian School mission team where opportunities arise.

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
